| Introduction: Ursa International has been hired by
the National Wildlife Foundation through funds provided by Environmental
Fund of Jamaica, to guide the production of a Development Plan for the Hope
Zoo, Kingston, Jamaica. As part of the planning process, several interactive
workshops are scheduled to gather information and form a consensus in regards
to the physical design and layout of the Hope Zoo’s renovation.
This is a webpage "test" summary
of the graphics for the first workshop held during May 7 through May 10,
2001. See the actual report for the detail discussions and decisions
reached during the workshop by the workshop participants. The information
gathered during this workshop is being used to program and design the Development
Plan. We are pleased with the amount and substance of the discussions
during the workshop and are looking forward to continuing this process.
Please review this document and return
any comments prior to our next workshop, scheduled June 18, 2001.
