Roz's Litter Photo Album

Pregnant Roz trying to relax

Pregnant Roz waiting....

Day one Puppy - bigger then ever before

Breakfast in bed/box, after a long night

Giving Mom a break - feeding three at a time!

One week old sleepers

At two weeks, their eyes are open and they are moving out!

But mostly they are chillin'

Today's a big day, someone is learning how to lap!

and Grandma Sammy and Aunty Lucy want to supervise...

At three weeks - they still like Mom best!

Everyone is getting into lapping...except Alonzo.

Nap time is also playtime!

A live body pillow!

At 4 weeks, Sam visits Alonso, and Ariel....

and Miranda and Prospero ... but where is Ferdo?

Mom hangs around, tells stories, plays...

but she also likes her own space!

And new popular place - the under-chest Den.

 Here's Ferdinand!

At 6 weeks! Ferdinand, Miranda, Ariel, Alonso and Prospero - now, who is the tall one?

The pups are facinated by new food!

And new friends!

And the Great Outdoors!

Well, not everyone...Miranda contemplates the new challenges.

It didn't take long before everyone mastered the brick steps.

Then, it was the wide open spaces - no looking back!
At 8 weeks -  the dogs are moving so fast - it's hard to get a decent digital photo - but here are some attempts.  Wish me luck!

Our neighbor Becky thinks you need 5 hands for 5 puppies!

Uncle Omar is jealous for some lov'in from Mom

Miranda eating fringe.

Miranda looking coy!

Alonso, our Gund Bear, in a pensive mood

Alonso in a Playdog Magazine pose

The competition for kennel location is fierce!  Ferdinand claims squatter's rights, but Prospero challenges...

...only to settle for the bed instead.

Rozzy still has a lot to teach - but the group is growing-up fast!

The pups take quality time together

Miranda is always glad to see you!

But she also likes the companionship of others.

Smiling face, mixes well with evergreen azaleas!

Tough, wide stance - solid as a rock, a small rock.

Getting measured is a group thing

Alonso relaxes after a romp in the grass

Roz's Litter - Where'd they go !?!

1st
to leave the nest,

Prospero!!

at 10 weeks old, 7.5 lbs,
10 3/4" at the shoulder

Prospero is a potentially breedable "tall" Coton
and he is living next door to Disneyland,
with a great family with two growing boys!
Watch out Goofy!

We haven't heard the last of, "Buddy"?!?
Couldn't they come up with a better name!!!

2nd out the door,

Ferdinand

 Ferdinand is a "pet" male.
He has a strong chin and tri-color marking - -
He's Ferdi!

He found a home with three human boys in
Baltimore, MD!

@ 14 weeks
8..3 lbs.
8.75" tall  - 11" long

He may look square,
but he's a cool dude!

3rd to go,

Alonso

Alonso had a hard time at his first home -  it didn't work
out for him - so he chose a new home!
He is now prince of the Manor-born. living with a female beagle named Julie, near Potomac, MD!

Finally,

Miranda

After a couple of false starts, Miranda has found her loving home with good friends of ours.  She's a nature girl that goes for long walks along the river and explores the deeper meaning of life along the Chattahoochee.

And of course,

Ariel

Well, we decided she would like to stay with us - and continue the Bear Manor Legacy as our next generation breeding female.
