Building a better Bear Manor, Belize

BMB perspective2

Many of you have asked to see photos of the construction of Bear Manor Belize - our new home in the Tropics!
We have been under-construction for about 3 months total, and have approximately 3 months to go before we move in. So far we have cleared and flattened the site, installed the road, set foundations (with 10k gal water tank) and slab, built the houses concrete walls, columns, beams on the veranda that wraps on three sides of the house. During the next three months we will erect the tropical hardwood roof system, and metal roofing, lay the tiles, install all the doors, and louver windows, build the kitchen cabinets and countertops, and the many shelve systems throughout the house, install the electrical and plumbing fixtures, paint and then complete the sitework, fencing and carport! Our contractor and crew are doing great work and keeping up a brisk pace. The weather is cooperating - only one hurricane that didn't phase them in the least. I'm going to try and post a bunch of photos just so you know Bear Manor Belize is real and should be ready for 2021 visitors! (if the borders ever open...). Enjoy

Ps - forgot to mention solar pv system, solar hot water, water collection systems and distribution network, emergency water tank, and pumps, and 5 mini/split a/c units!!
